KAPITOL D’ARGONNE PASSED AWAY

The powerful APACHE D’ADRIERS son had a brilliant sport career with his owner and rider Emilio Bicocchi. Together the were crowned Italian Champion in 2009 and won, among other successes, the Madrid GP 5* and 4* in Arezzo. As key members of the Italian team, the pair wins the Falsterbo Nations Cup, came 2nd in Gijon and Lummen. Furthermore, they were also selected for the World Equestrian Games both Aachen 2006 and Lexington 2010, making 𝐊𝐀𝐏𝐈𝐓𝐎𝐋 one of the very rare Selle-Français stallions to participate twice in this major event!

𝐊𝐀𝐏𝐈𝐓𝐎𝐋 then moved onto a successful breeding career for a few years, before returning to Pascal Trassart’s pastures, where he was born, for a happy and well-deserved retirement.

𝐊𝐀𝐏𝐈𝐓𝐎𝐋 was a powerful and very kind horse just like his offspring, who also inherit of his energy. His progeny steadily confirms the inherited talent on the international showgrounds, as for example DE L’OISELIERE, excellent 1m55 performer in the USA; DELIRIO DELLE SEMENTARECCE, 1m45 winner with Emilio Bicocchi ; DIAZ DE USH, performing up to 1m50 with Alix Ragot ; or even GENIAL DE B’NEVILLE, one of the big hopes for the future in the DESLAURIERS’ stables. We are saddened to see this tender-hearted giant pass away, but we are confident that his offspring will continue his legacy for many years to come. His frozen semen remains available worldwide, for his genetics to live on.
