Very promising from an early age on, KOUROS competed very seriously in young horses classes not aiming at any championship but only to prepare for the future. He earned his first victories in 1,40m classes at the age of 7 with Florian ANGOT. Eric FEVRIER took over the ride that same year and KOUROS achieved his best results with him :
- Winner of Saint-Lo 3*GP in 2008
- Winner of Dinard 1*GP in 2012
- French Pro 1 Reserve Champion in 2008
- 2^nd of Auvers 2*GP in 2012
- 2^nd of St Hilaire du Harcouet 1,45m GP in 2008
- 2^nd of 1,45m class during Dinard CSI 3* in 2012
- 2^nd of Montfort sur Meu 1,50m GP in 2007
- 3^rd of 1,45m class during Caen CSI 3* in 2008

KOUROS definitely passes on his strength to his offspring who also display good balance and scope. He stands for the typical sought-after Selle Français qualities : great temperament and willingness combined with a lot of blood despite his frame. Typey and modern mares should suit him better. 

Not used a lot so far, KOUROS' progeny is very localised and few in numbers. They were only 45 in age to compete in 2023 and 35% already has a showjumping sport index way above the national average! Among the best ones:
- ALINE D'HELBY, successful in 1,50m GP with E. FEVRIER, notably winner of Canteleu Pro Elite GP, 2^nd in Monfort sur Meu, 3^rd in Pontivy ... also 4^th of Royan 3*GP and placed during Saint-Lo CSI 4*
 - EDORA D'HELBY, labelled "Very Good" at 6yo, winner in Top 7 GP, later placed  in 3*GP at only 8yo!
- DEBIOSA D'ORVAL, 6^th of French 4yo Championship and awarded "Very Good", she then placed up to 1,40m GP
- FOLIE D'HELBY, finalist of 5 and 6yo French Championships and then placed up to GP 1,40m and CSI 3*
- URVIL D’HELBY, French 4yo Champion, later ranked in GP 1,45m and CSI 2*
 - BYBLOS D'HELBY, licensed stallion, came 11^th in the French 4yo Championship with « Excellent » label, also finalist at 5yo.
- HOLLYWOOD DU LEON, finalist in the French 4yo Championship, later up to CSI YH at 6yo
